Jet James is an artist living in Yeppoon and is well known in Central Queensland for his amazing art, especially his print work. On Saturday the 4th of August he had an exhibition that he funded mostly himself. Unfortunately the gallery was vandalised and his prize piece valued at $2000 was destroyed.
Jet is now trying to put on another exhibition to cover his costs and this is where we all come in to help Jet get his show back on the road.
Being a regional artist is hard work, especially when you are trying to fund your own exhibitions and fulfil your dreams of success while raising a family.
Let's all get behind one of our talented young artists and show him that our community (right here in CQ) cares about the arts and the artists who spend their lives making cool stuff for us to enjoy!
100% of the money raised here goes to Jet to produce new works to replace the ones that were vandalised and to hold a new exhibition before Christmas.
